Navicula kariana var. detersa (Grunow) Grunow 1883 is widespread in the Arctic Ocean. See how its striae are partly hidden around the raphe? It's the characteristic feature of this variety. There are two Naviculas like that, varieties of two different species. Counting, I call them Navicula blotted and Navicula blotted wide. This one is wide.
