Though it may not be apparent from my blog dedicated mostly to books, I am a diatomist. And as such I'm going to publish pictures of diatoms, because their beauty is the main reason that draws a lot of people into the field and beauty needs to be shared.
Right now I'm trying to sort out my long, long list of species I found in samples from the Bering and Chukchi seas. So each publication will be dedicated to a freshly sorted species. Since I'm a taxonomist by calling, I have a strong desire to classify everything. For now, I'm going to keep species pages in the alphabetical order.
